Got a Question?
So what does a Norwich wedding photographer get asked?
If you are thinking about booking, you may have a fist full of questions for me. Below are the regular questions that I get asked, if your question is not here, do drop me a line:
Firstly, get in contact. This can be either via email email@example.com, phone 07795 035063 or click here to complete my enquiry form. Let me know when your special day is and I will check my availability. If I do have availability, I will arrange to meet you. We will have a chat over a cuppa and I will show you my portfolio of images and I will also bring along sample albums, frames and cards that are included in the various packages.
This consultation is not a ‘pressure sell’. It is purely to show you what I have to offer.
After that, you let me know whether you would like to proceed or not.
It is worth noting, once you make an enquiry I do pencil your date in. This stops any potential for double bookings. Therefore should you not proceed, please let me know so I can release your date for someone else.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I would be bonkers not to. I hold both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
Yes. For wedding photography packages the deposit is £200 which can be paid either by cash, cheque or BACS, normally within 2 weeks of booking. This secures your date. The remainder of your balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day.
For portrait sessions, the £50 session fee is the deposit, paid in advance of the session.
Once the date is secured via a deposit – you are all booked. Nearer to your wedding date I will get in contact and email you a example of standard shots that often get taken at weddings which you can adapt to your family. We will meet up again and go through this with a fine tooth comb. This normally happens approximately 4 weeks before your wedding.
Firstly, you are not to worry! I will arrive and get to work. Your job is to relax and smile for me! I will be interacting with your guests and family aiming to achieve lovely relaxed images. I will work through your list and take others as the ‘moment’ arises. I will be in contact with you throughout the day so you know precisely what’s going on and where possible show you some examples as we go through.
You enjoy your honeymoon!! I will be looking through your images and will put them on a USB stick to post out to you. My aim here is for you to enjoy your images together without me in your way! All of your photographs will have an image number in the corner, I need this number when processing your albums, cards and prints (dependant on your chosen package). You will receive an envelope full of information and order sheets so it is very clear what you need to complete etc.
I will design your albums using the images you have chosen. Once everything is ready for you, I will get in contact again to arrange a time for delivery or collection of your goods.
I do aim to get the ‘draft’ USB stick to you within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date. This time scale depends hugely on the time of year. During the peak season, it is naturally a slower time scale.
Once you have selected your images and sent everything back to me, it can take 6-8 weeks to produce your albums etc depending on your package.
High quality, large format files that can be enlarged up to A3 easily. ALL of your images taken on the day. I will also produce a letter authorising you to print off the images wherever you choose. Any reputable company will ask for this to ensure you hold the copyright with the permission of the photographer.
No, unlimited means just that
Yes I do. This protects both you and me. It covers the basics of payment, permission rights and copyright release etc. I can email you a copy to view before you book if you wish. I will supply you with your own copy after you book anyway.
Although it is never an expectation of a meal, it would however be greatly received. This does not need to be one of your meals included in your dining package at your venue (too expensive!) but could be a bar meal or equivalent. Naturally I will not sit amongst your guests and will sit elsewhere.
